In this session, we’ll define what school climate truly means and explore how to read and interpret school climate data to uncover strengths and opportunities for growth. Participants will learn how to identify key areas for improvement and will leave with practical, actionable ideas to create a more positive, supportive, and engaging environment for every student.

Purpose and Goals

The purpose of this webinar is to help teachers understand how school climate connects to students' daily classroom experiences. Participants will learn how to define and interpret school climate data in ways that are meaningful at the classroom level, identify areas for improvement, and apply practical strategies to strengthen relationships, engagement, and belonging for every learner.

  1. Define school climate and understand its impact on student engagement, behavior, and learning outcomes.
  2. Interpret school climate data to identify classroom-level strengths and opportunities for improvement.
  3.  Analyze patterns and trends within climate data to better understand student experiences and perceptions.
  4. Develop actionable strategies to enhance classroom relationships, belonging, and emotional safety.
  5. Apply data-informed approaches to improve day-to-day practices and support a positive classroom environment.
